Why? </div> I assume this means you do not see the task crash anymore (you know, with a windows popup saying it is "looking for a solution"), is that correct? So you say "the task stops after a while", is that after seconds, minutes or hours? If it stops quite quickly, it likely means it was not able to connect to your FTP server. Make sure to use the "browse / test connection" button to see if your server is reachable. If that doesn't help, can you EMAIL (do NOT post here) me the following files (please ZIP them): the file C:\watchFtpBetaData\taskname.config the complete subdirectory and files in C:\watchFtpBetaData\taskname (replace "taskname" with the name of the task having issues). Ok, exit the WatchFTP control center In Windows Explorer goto C:\watchftpbetadata (where the beta stores its settings) Go to the subdirectory with the name as the trouble task Delete the history.db file (and files with names very similar to history.db if present) When you open the WF Control Center, the history.db will be recreated. The SFTP connection works fine for lots of other testers (including me). (WD uses a different SFTP component, by the way). Perhaps you can ask the admin of this SFTP server to see if he can enable some kind of "logging" and then check those logs to see why the "initializeSftp" call fails? La version beta expirera le 31 Mai, vérifiez bien sur ce forum les nouvelles beta versions. Si vous avez des problèmes en parcourant un serveur SFTP (mauvais affichage des noms de répertoire), ouvrez la fenêtre "avancés" et saisissez "utf-8" (sans les "quotes") dans le champ codepage. Lisez ci-dessous si vous souhaitez installer cette beta sur un ordinateur qui a également une version 2 de WatchFTP installée. Note: Je vous déconseille cela car il peut être trompeur d'avoir 2 versions sur le même ordinateur. Les conseils ci-dessous vous aideront à copier une tâche d'un ordinateur à un autre. Cette version beta s'installe (par défaut) dans C:\WatchFTPbeta3 et utilisera un emplacement différent pour stocker son paramétrage. Ce qui veut dire que vous pouvez avoir les 2 versions installées sur le même ordinateur. Faites ceci pour copier une tâche existante vers la version beta: - Ouvrez le Centre de Contrôle WatchFTP (version 2.x) - Cliquez droit sur la tâche et choisissez "parcourir le répertoire des tâches" (un explorateur Windows s'ouvre) - Naviguez dans le répertoire et copiez le fichier "Nom_de_tâche.config" et le sous-répertoire complet "Nom_de_tâche" - Maintenant fermez le Centre de Contrôle WatchFTP - Collez le fichier et le sous-répertoire dans "c:\watchftpbetadata" Si vous ouvrez le nouveau Centre de Contrôle WatchFTP, vous devriez voir la tâche copiée. Une précision: si vous aviez indiqué à la tâche de se lancer en mode service Windows, ce service utilisera encore la vieille version (v2) de WatchFTP. What you see is a different "encoding" for what a linefeed is. For Macs and Unix the standard is to use "\n" (linefeed). On Windows it has always been "\r\n" (carriage-return + linefeed), mimicking the way old typewriters work. You can probably see this when you use a normal FTP program (FileZilla) and let it download the file in binary (see picture). So you can solve this in different ways: - make sure the files on the FTP use the Windows convention for linefeeds or - use a modern text editor (for example UltraEdit) that understands both types of linefeeds or - use WatchFTP's "run a bat file" action to transform between the types of linefeeds The last one can be done with a simple program, however I strongly advice the first or second option.
