Title: Starting tasks after rebooting
Post by vsx32 on Jan 31st, 2013, 12:02pm

After rebooting, I have to start the FTP Watch program and select which tasks to start.

I would love to have my computer automatically start the ftp watch program after rebooting and automatically start my tasks as sometimes I forget or my computer reboots in the middle of the night and my ftp watch program is not running and it should be.

I know how to set my computer to start a program on start up, but it seems I have tried this with the ftp watch program and it does not work.

Is this possible?

You can configure the Task to start as Windows Service, so it starts up when your Computer boots. Or by script in autostart folder, see here: http://blog-en.gdpsoftware.com/2008/09/automatically-start-watchdirectory.html
The blog is written for WatchDirectory, you need just to replace "WatchDirectory" with "WatchFTP" and wdrun.exe with wfrun.exe
