SMTP settings for relaying

Hi,  I'm curious if anyone has gotten WatchFTP to relay through an Exchange 2013 server?  I've tried many combinations of settings in WatchFTP and the Receive connectors on Exchange and can't get it to work.

Hello Scott,

please create a new ReceiveConnector (FrontEnd), under "Security" check TLS and StandardAuth and below Exchange-User (if the user you want to use in WatchFTP has an Exchange Mailbox) and/or Anonymous (for a user without a mailbox).
On "scoping" make sure the IP from the server watchFTP is installed is allowed to use this connector and make a binding for the network adapter to a port of your choice, e.g. 2525.

In WatchFTP use this special port in SMTP settings and user/pass of the user that has a Mailbox or without user/pass for anonymous sending.

looks good.

Is windows firewall enabled on that Exchange for incoming connections? Or on WatchFTP server for outgoing connections?
Are the IPs correct?

The log tells us:

A few possible causes for a connection being rejected are:
              - A firewall (software or hardware), such as Windows Firewall, is blocking the connection .
              - Nothing is listening at the remote host:port

Exchange is not listening on port 2599.
You can try on a cmd box: telnet 10.22.210.50 2599
Do you get a reply?
