WatchFTP needs an internet connection to access the configured FTP site(s) and to (optionally) send Email. No "secret" connections are made.
When you configure an Email Action, the Email is only sent to the recipients you configure.

Our web server logs all the pages you visit on this web site. Information that is logged includes your IP address. We primarily use this information to optimize your experience on our site and find/correct broken links.
