Weekly Schedule

By default, a running Task continuously watches the specified FTP site. However, you can use this page to set up a weekly schedule.

In the screenshot, the Task is active continuously during weekdays, but only between 6am and 6pm at the weekend.

When a Task is "stopped", it actually continues running, but does not connect to your FTP server to download files, and does not consume system resources. This is useful, for allowing the FTP server to have maintenance downtime.

To add an active period

  • Select a Start and Stop time and click Add.

To remove an active period

  • Select the entry and click Remove.

To add an entire working week

  • Specify a Start and Stop time for Monday.
    WatchFTP offers to replicate the same active period for Tuesday to Friday.
