Upgrade from a previous version
- Stop all your WatchFTP tasks
- Stop the WatchFTP Control Center
- Install the new version in the same location as the previous install so it will "see" your current tasks and settings
No Spyware
Some Windows versions have features to warn you about downloading or opening files which might have been altered.

Furthermore, we digitally sign our executables. You can check the properties of our programs to verify the digital signature is intact.
Uninstalling
Before you uninstall, please remove your WatchFTP tasks, especially if you run a task as a Windows Service.
No harm is done if you forget this, but it will keep your system a bit more clean.
